Harbor Island Tour
What a wonderful way to spend 2 1/2 hours with an out of town friend! It was a very manageable bike ride with lots of stops built in. During the stops Dawn shared rich Portsmouth history! Highly recommend and will definitely do it again!

Had a fantastic ride with Paul who is so knowledgeable about the area history. We live in mostly flat Florida and the ride was not hard. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
Great Way to Spend the Afternoon

Paul was an energetic, fun, locally born/raised & knowledgable Guide-he was excellent. Weather was stellar, tour interesting and although we’re from the general area, we learned some great local history about the Revolutionary War, Architecture, geography & food. It was mostly flat riding on new, well-tuned bicycles. I’d give it 4.5 only that $70/pp seems a little rich for the not quite 2 hour bike tour. Thanks again Paul and best of luck in Boston.

BEST PART OF OUR TRIP
This was our first time to Portsmouth and we could not be happier with this tour! Paul was amazing as a tour guide and getting to see the local streets in New Castle was priceless! They give just enough history to keep it interesting but not boring! We had all ages in our group and they were very conscientious of everyone's surroundings! It is a must see on your Portsmouth trip!

A must-do when visiting Portsmouth
One of the best bike tours we've been on. Steve (I hope I remembered his name correctly) was a great guide and super knowledgeable about the area. Our one request - water views - and he delivered. We biked out to a little island and to an old inn which was beautiful and may be a future stay. The history of the area is quite intriguing and was fun to learn about while getting in a decent bike ride as well. For anyone not used to biking, the area is relatively flat, except for one "large hill" which wasn't so bad, extremely doable for even a novice.

Our tour was so much fun! I'm not usually too interested in history, but learning about the town on this tour was so much fun! Our tour guide was so enthusiastic about his info! The ride was uphill at times so it did take a little work!

This was an amazingly well organized, fun, educational, beautiful tour. From the moment that we scheduled it, the folks at Portcity communicated well with us, told us what we needed to bring, wear, where to park for free and more. What a well oiled operation. The tour itself was a pretty easy ride with stops along the way to learn about the history of the area and enjoy the spectacular views. Overall, we went 10 miles in 2 hours. It was very relaxed, Beth, our guide was awesome. We highly recommend and we will do more tours in the future!

So much fun! I surprised my husband with this excursion for his bday. We like the coast and being outdoors. Never rode an e-bike before. What a great way to see the coast and learn about the local history. Dawn was our guide. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. She even brought my husband a birthday baklava treat! I was concerned about riding on the streets but Dawn made me feel very comfortable and paid close attention to us and the surroundings. The e-bikes took a little bit to get used to, but once we did it made the ride so easy.

This is a great way to get to see Portsmouth. Paul was amazing, extremely knowledgeable & a delight to spend time with. Took us to places we likely wouldn't have found on our own, really an up-close & personal way to see the city. Very pleased

Morning ride on the first day. Really nice to see some of the smaller islands and get sense of small towns and bay views. Paul, the guide, is a local and did great job telling history along with anecdotes. Added some humor and happy to answer questions,even on a good lunch spot! Bikes were well maintained and comfy with handle bar bags for water and essentials. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Paul, was very informative of the area. He was considerate of the cycling abilities of all three of the riders. He kindly offered to take a couple photos as I was a solo traveller. His love of the area shows in his eagerness to share it with others. What a great morning!!

Had communication with the owner Dawn, when I booked and she was full of great recommendations for Portsmouth. On the day of our ride Vinny took us and he was a great guide. Filled with local information and just the right amount. Felt very safe at all times. Two hour ride flew by. Highly recommend to see the area this way

This was an excellent bike tour! My friend and I wanted to see Portsmouth and hear some more intimate details of the city and its history, and we got this and more on the bike tour. Dawn our guide was extremely friendly and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend!

We did the Islands and Harbor tour. It was a great experience and not too challenging for myself as an occasional bike rider. Great sights with interesting history mixed in. Would definitely recommend as a fun way to explore Portsmouth.

Great way to see Portsmouth! We thought the 2 hour tour was the perfect length of time. Dawn was very informative and gave great recommendations in the area. She was also really good with making sure the whole group was together and very considerate. I highly recommend checking this out!

Port City Bike Tours is phenomenal! Dawn was an incredibly knowledgable tour guide, and she taught us so much about Portsmouth's historical buildings and industries and lore.

Had a wonderful bike tour this past weekend. Dawn, the owner, and her associate were wonderful. I learned a lot about Portsmouth and got to experience some breathtaking scenery. Highly recommend!
