We always have your best interest in mind when it comes to the safety of your family. If you have questions about a tour and routes, please call us any time. We love children and know that sometimes a public tour doesn't fit into your schedule or timeframe. We can make suggestions and recommendations for which tour is the best fit depending on the age of your little ones.
Our Neighborhood Tour and Private Tour are great options for parents with small children under 9 years old. We love families and children of all ages on our bike tours since it's a great way to burn a little energy, take in the fresh air, and spend some quality time outdoors. We love scavenger hunts, too! All of our tours get off the beaten path and onto side roads to protect our little ones. We ride into gardens, parks, and forts and off the main roads. We know the safest path to make our way through town to ensure the safety of our riders and their children.
When selecting an adult bicycle, you can add a 24-inch bicycle, a tag-a-long, a 20-inch bicycle, or a child's seat attachment.
If you have a question about safety, please call us. 603-969-1866. If you are unsure about riding with others, we offer private tours where we can go with the flow. Sometimes, we will need to pause to toss rocks into the river or stop for ice cream and other times all goes as planned.
For children uncomfortable riding on their own, our tag-a-long rides comfortably behind their parents up to 8 years old or 70lbs, we have tag-along tandem bicycles for children 4'0 - 4'8 feet. The child passenger sits on a seat and can pedal or coast. This is not an option for adults or anyone over the weight or age limit. The bicycle acts just like a regular bike with a 20-inch wheel, handlebars, seat, and pedals.
Toddler's Seat (1-seat)
We love families with small children! Please be an experienced rider with a child seat. We can accommodate toddler's with a frame-mounted rear bike seat. The seat has a harness, leg restraints, and a padded crossbar for added safety. If you're looking for a baby bike seat for an infant, be cautious. In addition to other safety concerns, a baby needs to have sufficient neck strength to hold up their head while wearing a helmet. We recommend waiting until 12 months old. Our toddler seat can accommodate children up to 40 pounds only.
