Pedal your way through the breathtaking Portsmouth and New Castle NH landscape – no tour guide necessary! Our self-guided tour is $40 for 3 hours and is the perfect way to see the sites, stop for pictures, take lunch or coffee at the beach, and make it back to the shop in enough time. Our self-guided tour includes a fitted bicycle, helmet, cell phone holder, and bike bag and we plan a route for you based on your interests and activity levels.
You set the pace, choose where to go, and decide when to stop for amazing photo opportunities! This SELF-GUIDED experience gives you the freedom to explore Portsmouth and New Castle the way you want!
Helpful PortCity Bike Tours expert staff will assist you in deciding on a route - choosing between Portsmouth's many historic attractions, tasty restaurants, and breathtaking views will be your only worry. Again, in addition to one of our high-quality hybrid bicycles, your rental includes a biking map, helmet, water, emergency tire inflator, and lock.

Book Your self-guided tour for three hours for $40. $50 security deposit required per rental.

Self-guided tours run between 9 am -12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm.

Self-Guided tours for full day day 9 am -4 pm $60 per day.

Pick up your bike on the day and time of your self-guided tour.

What Is Not Included?
This is a SELF-GUIDED TOUR ONLY, so you will not be accompanied by a tour guide. For your own comfort, you might consider bringing a bottle of water or a sports drink and snacks. While we keep our tires and bikes in tiptop shape, flats happen. Flat kits are included for no additional charge. Just ask when you pick up the bike. If you do not take a kit and get a flat, we can direct you to the nearest bike shop where you can get the flat fixed. We do not offer a pick-up service for broken bicycles. Please be careful while riding and shifting.
