City View Bike Tour - Hidden Neighborhoods of Portsmouth

Overview

Come and join us as we discover the uniqueness and character of each of the neighborhoods and districts by bicycle. On this tour, your tour guide will share with you the transformation of each of the neighborhoods of Portsmouth, from the revitalization of the former Italian North End "Little Italy" to the Strawbery Banke's "Puddle Dock" neighborhood, to the new cheeky West End's "Brooklyn" or former Frank Jones Brewery neighborhood to the Creek Neighborhood or "Christian Shore". You'll discover the real Portsmouth; a unique, eclectic, vibrant, magnetic, working-class city that you will want to visit again. Meet your guide at the Historic John Paul Jones House to get outfitted with a 21-speed bike, helmet, and safety vest. You’ll hear a short briefing about rules of the road, bike safety, and bike operation. Children and families are most welcome!
