Our neighborhoods are a treasure trove of fascinating cultural buildings, historic architecture, parks, and sculptures, each telling their rich and complex story. Discover the charming neighborhoods and districts of Portsmouth. Your friendly guide will take you through the city's five distinctive boroughs, stopping at historical landmarks and points of interest throughout the tour. 

See the city in a unique way while learning about its fascinating history and well preserved 18th -19th century architecture. We guarantee this tour to be a fun and informative experience while getting to know Portsmouth and the state motto we live by since the American Revolution; "Live Free Or Die."

Highlights:
 

• Visit the former North End / Italian "Little Italy" to hear about the transformation of the area since the 1970s

• Stop at The Hill to hear about Little Italy's preserved historic buildings, some dating back to the 1700s

• Visit Little Harbor for a view of the secret cove and the back channel. Hop off your bike for a short walk to the river and hear about the Wentworth Coolidge Mansion and a former visitor, George Washington (great place for photos!)

• Visit Prescott Park to hear about the Prescott Sister's transformation of the area into a waterfront park (great place for photos!)

• Visit the former Frank Jones Brewery Lane to hear about King of Ale

• Visit the new sculpture garden at Bohenko Park to see the new Portsmouth 400th sculpture Endeavor and the steampunk art sculpture (great place for photos!)

At your selected departure time, meet 30 minutes before your tour start time to get fitted for your bike.

• $55 Adult bicycle
